Hello all,

Just wanted to let you know that I've arrived. The site is now complete.  Smile
I finally decided to join the site after wandering around for about 4 years, so I know what's in store for me... I think.  Wink

Something about me: I live in Kansas City, but I am originally from Romania. I'm now a sophomore in high school. My first flight was in June of 1999 and I've liked the feeling immediately. Therefore I found this site some years later.

First question for you: Do any of you know what equipment KLM used on flights to MSP in June 99?

Thank you in advance for any answer, as that's probably the only A/C type i flew on, but don't remember. (Well, it was a 747 for sure, don't know the model though)

Welcome to a.net Dc9.

I hope you enjoy your time posting here. So I guess you already know there are some interesting characters among us.

Edit: What's the difference between that KLM 742 and the NW 742? The humps on top seem to be different sizes.

The NW 747 looks like its sized for cargo, but has pax windows and pax livery, so I dont know. Possibly an option that KL took?

Welcome to A.net.  wave

KL is an SUD model with Stretched Upper Deck.

It's a pax aircraft. NW cargo 742's are bare metal.

Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.

Yes, I suppose you're right. Consider it an introductory question.  Wink

And I suppose a Cessna is alright for know. At least I also got a 747. And a very clear picture of a SWA 733. Big grin

My, my, a RR of 100 and posting in my thread... Cool.

No you fool! Only 747-100s have the short upper deck with 3 windows! The one with the long deck is obviously a 747-400.

By the way, those 747s look very close, I'm certain that photo isn't real. And this should be in Civ_av, anyway.

Welcome aboard  Smile
