Hi all my friends,

This year Airliners.net will be 10 years old. The site was registered in 1997 by Johan. don't you think something special shuuld be done fr this occasion. Like an a.net open doors in the heardquarters. johan coming to an a.net meet? An a.net meet convention.
At least something should be added on the logo to show the website is 10 years old!
Give out your ideas because 10 years is worth celebrating!

Regards
BM

A.net is located in a fricking closet. Tell me why that would be enjoyable.

Most owners of sites like these see them as businesses. A couple of the Ford fansites are owned by people who could care less about cars. They're in it for the money.

Okay. Isn't the closet in a Swedish university? So the hot blond students on the campus could be enjoyable  Wink

Sounds good to me, but please make it the warmer time of the year for Sweden.

I agree, aside from repugnant A vs. B and other negative rants. So many here have contributed so much to intelligent, international dialogue; I feel this site has often performed public service as a result. The enlightenment of so many by well-informed posters is certainly a worthwhile accomplishment, despite the nonsensical fluff that also gets posted. As for how we should celebrate, well maybe one of our creative graphics dabblers could come up with a virtual cake for the actual date this site went online. The occasion should certainly be marked by some sort of notation.

Do you know where it is in Sweden? It's on the Arctic Circle.
