Oh yeah, here in Bowling Green State University, the windchill has been below 0 for more than a week.

Even the heaters in the University's C172's barely work.

I guess they don't call it "Windy Green" for a reason.

Dam...yes, up here in the "Great White North" winter has arrived and we are freezing our arses off!!!  yes

But...as true Canadians....we do love our winter with snow flakes falling and looking out and seeing the ground all white!!! Now driving in it is another thing...for those of us who know how to drive in the snow it is not a problem. For those that don't....Good Luck!!!

But, Spring is just around the corner and it will warm up and everything will once again begin to grow....I can't wait!!!

Is it bad that we can say it is only going to drop to -7 F tonight with wind chill values only getting to about -30 F? Late January kicked my ass and this month is shaping up to be just as cold! Maybe it is time to head back to Texas...

Shut up.

When I walked to classes this morning it was a balmy -24F. As far as I know it didn't get above -15F all day.

We are freezing on the east coast too. Here on Long Island it is 13F and the wind chill is -1F now. Going down to the single digits tonight.

This is what's getting me through these days. When I'm not freezing my ass off I'm thinking about baseball. Once in a while I can multi-task and do both at the same time.

Can't wait until WGN starts showing the Cubs spring training games in March. And only a little over a week until pitchers and catchers report to Mesa. It's about time!

Yes indeed, up here in the northeast, we're paying dearly for having a mild winter through December.

It's pretty unusual to see wind chills below zero for weeks on end.

Sigh, time to move back to LA.....

Nowadays, they close the schools if someone sneezes the wrong way. I remember walking to school when it was -35 F. That was before there was a thing called "wind chill."

I agree, but, I cant really complain, seeing as I got 2 days off because of it.

Ahh yes, but the summers are well worth the price of admission. Sit back and suck down a couple of Long Trails, mud season will be around before you know it.
