Going to send a bird some flowers for Valentines, but not going to be sad and put my name to it - just a cryptic clue!!
She lives in a house four doors up from me and I was going to put something along the lines of a date of birth of someone famous which the year would be 1953, i.e 53, i.e my house number.......but not that obvious!!!
Any ideas??

You're making her think way to hard. I'd simplify it for her.

Quoting Cumulus (Reply 5): I'm going to really show ignorance here, what the hell is a Snowglobe?
Uh-oh, someone drag up the FLAirport threads....
Dude, if you want a shagging, dont buy the damn snowglobe......and dont stalk her.
Quoting Cumulus (Reply 7): Which is EXACTLY what I'm trying to do!!!
OK, well lets make this romantic, eh? Does she have any trees in her yard? If so, then find a poem, prefferably Robert Frost (his stuff always had trees in it) that references the specific tree in her yard. Go from there, but use poetry as the clues.
Quoting Cumulus (Reply 6): Trouble is she's a classy bird, that kind of shite won't wash!!!
Ah, well then make it classy. When she asks what youre gonna move 6 inches say 3 milliliters of sperm, please.

I have no idea, I wouldn't ask otherwise!!!
EDIT:-
Hangfire, just looked at Wiki link...!!
There is no bleeding way I'll send her a snow globe - what the hell do you think I am??(!!!)

Because that is the saddest thing ever!!! I might as well get down on one knee and tell her I love her and my world is not complete without her - not going to happen mate!!!

Yes, plus you know too much about her which could become embarrasing.
And you dont have to tell her you love her. Just go up to her door on Valentines Day, when she opens up the door, be smiling and say, these are for you, hand her the flowers. Then say, are you available saturday night for dinner and a movie, or dinner and dancing, or just dinner and then a walkk, or or just a long, fancy dinner. Dude, really, just make it simple.

You want to impress the girl, not give her a headache.
Besides, even if she manages to guess the number.... how would she know what street to look for? Or even if the number is a housenumber!
26 Cumulus: It's the whole point of Valentines isn't it? I could do that any day of the week!!!
27 Speedbird747BA: Not the flowers, thats what distinguishes it. Cheers, Kyle

35 Cumulus: I'm going with the atomic number of Iodine, she's done a course in Chemistry and it comes up straight away when Googled - not too tricky...!

43 Cumulus: Considering a dozen is £40.00, that's nearly £100! No thanks!!
44 767Lover: How are you going to know if she can't work it out? (She might not necessarily say anything to you if she does, she might play dumb.)

71 Cumulus: In that case anything sent anonymously is creepy?
