I'm just looking to survey the favourite Bands of some of the other users of a.net, just to get to know you guys better and to get a few more ideas to enlarge my (and yours) media libraries
Leave some info on your favourite bands, singers, etc, or leave a link to their official site.
My Favourite Band is Chicago! Many of you older users will probably know about them. They started in 1967 and are still releasing albums, though less than before; they have released over 30 albums in 40 years! They are a very good band playing a variety of music. Mostly Rock Ballads, Jazz and some random other stuff! Most of their music incorporates a small yet powerful horn section.
Best songs:
Feelin' Stonger Every Day
25 or 6 to 4
Questions 67 & 68
Make Me Smile
Dialogue (Parts 1 & 2)
Old Days

I mainly like Symphonic/Goth metal music at the moment, don't knock it till you have tried it, but depending on my mood I will go from that, to opera or classical music.

Afraid I don't have al of the websites to hand currently as I'm not on my own laptop. I can suggest using YouTube to search for examples of the bands music, most of it seems to have escaped the recent binge of pulls recently.

Quite a mix, although my music library is pretty varied too. I've got Dido, Die Toten Hosen, Die Ärtze, Juli, Hawthorne Heights. I'll listen to pretty much anything, but I hate rap, r'n'b, classical and jazz.

Quoting Graphic (Reply 20): I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Neil Young.
Both released albums at the end of last month. Have you got them yet?
Tristania's Illumination sound better each time I hear it. I'm really starting to like it.
Therion's Gothic Kaballah on the other hand seems rather dull. The very american female voice doesn't help either... I prefer listening to Sirius B and Lemuria...
