What Is Your Plan For Valentine's Day?

Not only is Wednesday Valentine's Day, it is also her birthday. The plan here, as it stands right now (weather permitting), is to do a pretty big dinner/dessert combo for her. I'm making miniature chocolate cakes in heart-shaped ramekins and decorating them like those little candy hearts we used to get in grade school. Have a few of those leading up the top few stairs to her apartment door. At the door will be some chocolate mousse with some flowers in the middle, with one card on each side of the door. She has not said what she wants for dinner yet.

However, these plans may have to change since, "SNOWFALL RATES COULD EXCEED AN INCH PER HOUR WITH NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY....THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR A MAJOR NOR EASTER." (Expected to start tomorrow night and not end until Thursday sometime. Taken from The Weather Channel). Hooray, my first Nor Easter.

Anyway, what are y'all's plans?

Texan

Well, seeing how it's my brother's 21st birthday, i'd imagine I'll be joining him for an adult beverage or two sometime that evening. Otherwise, probably just sleeping in.

I'll be working till 5pm and then meeting my gitrlfriend at Baker Street. Depending on how busy it is, we'll either eat somewhere there (there is a nice italian place) or I'll be cooking steak, potatoes, mushrooms and salad at my house. Plenty of wine too.

I'm off the next day!

One problem...

The "decorators are in" as of today dammit, so my chances of action are slim.

I'm quite happy we have this attitude, as it's also a money saving !

Plans out the wazoo on this one, especially as our 3rd anniversary occurs the following week, and she just got a promotion at her work. So, lots to celebrate as well as just the usual Valentine's mush:

1. I've already organized with her boss for her to have the day off work. So I'll take her breakfast in bed.
2. Give her a few hours at the Burke Williams Day Spa so she can get her manicures and pedicures and whatnot.
3. Wine tasting in Temecula in the afternoon, followed by a sunset balloon ride.
4. Dinner at Orange Hills Restaurant in Orange.

Usual day, work 8 to 5, nothing special. It feels so good to be single... Big grin

Since here it's regarded as a day for love and friendship (not only from your significant other, but also from family and friends), I can expect loads of chocolate from my sisters when I get home.  yummy

Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.

It is my birthday too. I am going out to dinner, with my girlfriend, at a Brewpub. The same place as last year. Before that I have to work. Maybe I'll get the day off the weather man is predicting heavy snow on Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. If that is the case I'll sleep in and then go to the gym to work off all the beers I will drink later on.  Silly  drunk

I did that last month, Boring! I kind of wished I would have sat on a jury I could have used the days off from work. The students were really getting on my nerves then.
