The more I read about this trial, the more angry I become. It seems like every major journalist knew about Valerie Plame's identity. On top of that Lewis Libby is being tried for perjury, not for leaking her name. So I'd still like to know WHO leaked her identity to the press, and why that person is free now while Libby's career was wruined and he is on trial and facing millions in legal fees. Why has the press basically ignored the fact that the person who leaked her name has still not been found?

Because it's not important to the case. Martha Stewart didn't serve her time for her stock trades, she served for lying to investigators. Same set of circumstances apply here.
When there's a trial where the main focus is who leaked Plame's name, then it will be analyzed down to the nth degree.
