Yes, it's the man who referred to Randall Simon as a "fat monkey" spending 8 months in daily contact with the man who claims dinosaurs didn't exist. Now all John Hart needs to do is ressurrect Billy Martin and hire him for his second stint as Texas' manager. Next, hire Cliff Johnson, Pascual Perez, Vince Coleman, and Denny McClain as the coaching staff. Finally, employee Bobby Knight as an "advisor." Maybe Fox will pick up the Rangers clubhouse as their next "reality" TV show.

Nothin like that "name recognition" factor. That always packs 'em in and wins pennants. It sure did after they got A-Rod.......

..uhhhhhh, didn't it?

I was laughing at this a little bit ago ... like, what are the chances A-Rod would have signed if this had happened LAST year!!  Laugh out loud

I like the idea for the reality show!  Big thumbs up

A few Jim Romoe quotes.

"I garuntee that Everett and Rocker will get into it, and sooner rather than later."

"How happy is A-Rod right about now?"

Wouldn't it be _really_ funny if A-Rod demanded a trade!

And the Rangers STILL don't have any starting pitching!  Confused

Issel in Tejas! LMAO. And nobody will trade for A-Rod. Nobody is going to trade away what it would take to get him, as well as pick up his hefty contract.

The Rangers will likely be the biggest sideshow since the "Bronx Zoo" Yanks of 76-78, or the "Swingin A's" of 72-74. And it's too bad about Johnny Oates. My dad had the same sort of brain cancer. He's a goner.

Maggs swings, it's a drive deep to left! The Tigers are going to the World Series!!!

I can't wait, in May, when the Rangers are already 15 games out of first, Everett and Rocker will get into a fight, and A-Rod will try to break it up. In a freak accident, A-Rod will be taken down trying to break up the fight, and his ACL will be torn, and he will never be the same player again. Just a prediction.

KROC, and others, I like, I like.....This reality TV show is starting to take shape, how about this inevitable episode:

After dropping 2 of 3 to the Devil Rays, Rocker and Everett (who have forged an unlikely friendship) begin to complain about the rest of the team. Not amused, Chad Curtis defends his teammates. Rocker and Everett go tag team on Curtis, when suddenly....w-w-what's that? T-t-t-hat's Gabe Kapler's music!!! Oh nooooo!! A cage match ensues on the team bus, and in the melee, A-Rod tears an ACL, an MCL, and his rotator cuff. The team investigates the incident and immediately trades Curtis to the Tigers for Jose Lima.

Shakey: Vince McMahon could not have depicted a better scene. That is hillarious. It's official. You now rule!

OK, I think we're on a roll here....another episode of "Rocker, Texas Ranger"-the new Fox reality series:

Rocker and Everett's friendship has escalated to the point where they now share an Arlington condo. Due to the large amount of time spent on the road, they opt to add a third roommate to maintain the compound during Rangers' road trips. Several questionable candidates are interviewed, including Darryl Strawberry, Charles White, and Robert Downey Jr. Rocker and Everett ultimately decide to invite Puck, a bicycle courier, to become their roommate. Upon returning from a 3-9 east coast swing, they discover that Puck has been eating Rocker's peanut butter with his fingers. Disgusted, Rocker and Everett vow to get revenge on their ill-mannered roomate. They conceive a plan to ambush Puck as he returns home that night from his part time gig at the local free clinic. When the door to the condo opens, the pair violently attack the person entering the room. Upon turning on the lights, however, the injured party is not Puck, it's A-Rod, and he has suffered a ruptured spleen, a skull fracture, and a detached retina. Horrified, Rocker and Everett throw A-Rod in the trunk of Rocker's Camero and drive around Fort Worth for 3 hours wondering what to do next. They finally decide on Rocker's idea to drive the Camero into a tree and claim they were "cut off" by an Asian woman who fled the scene. Upon learning that three of his star players were injured in a car wreck, Rangers GM John Hart immediately trades Ricky Ledee to Detroit and re-acquires Chad Curtis.

I heard Laurence Phillips was thinking about a try a baseball, and John Hart was intrested in signing him!
