As the thread title asks, do you have any exciting plans for Spring Break 2007?
I'll be flying home to North Carolina on Friday, March 16 and returning back to Florida on Sunday, March 25th. I'll be spending most of the week sleeping, eating real food, and playing golf.
My flights home and back are:
Delta 513: TPA - ATL
Depart: 5:30 PM
Arrive: 7:02 PM
Aircraft: Boeing 767-300
AirTran 471: CLT - ATL
Depart: 10:40 AM
Arrive: 11:52 AM
Aircraft: Boeing 717
AirTran 899: ATL- DAB
Depart: 12:40 PM
Arrive: 2:00 PM
Aircraft: Boeing 717.
***Anyone on these flights or traveling through ATL on these dates? As you can tell, I have a nice 3 hour, 46 minute layover in ATL on the 16th (though I will be trying to standy-by for the earlier flight into GSO) , so if anyone's in ATL in that time period (or or one of these flights) and is interested in meeting up, let me know.

A friend and I will be flying ourselves (the joys of having PPL's) from TUS to FFZ (Falcon Field in Mesa if anyone doesn't know) to try out the Anzio Landing Italian Restaurant on March 12. I've heard it's good, so we decided to try it out. I also thought about going through the VFR transition route above PHX, but it is out of the way. Maybe next time.

I'm going to be going back home to California for spring break. The parents kind of guilt-tripped me into it. At least this way I get to save up some cash to do a real spring break trip a year or two from now. Dublin, hopefully.

I actually have money to do something this spring break (thanks to being on Workman's Comp for a month), but by the time my check came, I was unable to find any specials to any of the big destinations. Maybe a couple of friends and I will spend a day or 2 in Atlantic City. If not, I guess I'll just be sleeping.

My Spring Break begins a bit early this year, a friend and me will fly to the USA for snowboarding at the end of the week. Flights are with Air France and Delta to Sacramento, from there we go by car to South Lake Tahoe.

Quoting DesertJets (Reply 3): But I do have travel plans.... out to Houston for a few days to attend the christening of my friend's baby. So its not like I'll be on the beach watching crazy co-eds gone wild.

I too have plans. It makses sense for me to leave sunny California and go back east for spring break huh... I do it every year, and last year I told this chick sitting next to me on the airplane, and she looked at me like I had three heads. My flights for this year are:
Man it has been awhile since I have flown anyone but UA. Usually Price does not matter to much to me since UA is not THAT much more than the cheapest fare, bit I just could not resist:
1. DL fare of $160.00 RT
2. Going to JFK (never been)
3. Song IFE I [hopefully] will get on the 757's.

My spring break (from King's College London in England) is the whole month of April.
The first week of April, I will be flying BA LHR-LAX for an interview at USC-Los Angeles for a PhD position in craniofacial research at USC's craniofacial department. I may be extending my trip to include visits to Stanford University and UCSF, both in San Francisco. (I was invited to LA for an interview by a professor at USC). I am applying for PhD courses in craniofacial deformities research (something inspired by my own life experience).
At the end of April, I have a thesis due for my degree in craniofacial sciences at King's College London, based on the laboratory research I've been doing in their craniofacial department (on floor 27 of Guy's Hospital Tower in London). Guess what--my thesis is due on my birthday (April 25); what a way to celebrate my 32nd birthday!
A friend may be visiting me here in London in the last week of April; she wants to bring Mom along. I'm hoping so! If they come, I have my own special tour of London to take them on--to show them King's College London, my labs in Guy's Tower, and other places I frequent.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made... (Psalm 139:14)
Yeah, all those crazy co-eds that inhabit the bars at Marriotts.
Or all the crazy co-eds you can pick up at a Mormon christening ceremony.
It was about 3 weeks after I had finalized my travel plans for this trip that I realized I could have taken an extra 2-3 days off and gone down to South Padre. Oh well I am getting too old for that stuff. I don't think crazy co-eds would be impressed by my Hertz full-sized rent-a-car.

If anyone knows the registrations for the planes scheduled for the trips, that would be helpful. I might be leaving at night, and since I haven't seen one for, I am planning on writing a TR so I can let you all know how it goes. Hoping to use digital camera that I might get for my birthday tomorrow.
