The judge in this case is hilarious. Apparently he was a taxi driver in New York earlier in his life, and did a demo tape prior to opening hearings this week, so he could be the next Judge Judy. I think he's conducting a bit of a kangaroo court, especially when he comes up with lines like "in the old days, we'd go back into chambers and bash some heads to get this done".
Meanwhile, even though Anna Nicole's remains are embalmed, she's decomposing in the morgue, where she'll deteriorate beyond reasonable recognition by Saturday.
It looks like the fireworks have just begun, with Larry Birkhead's attorney getting up into the judge's face, and now there's a hearing in the Bahamas tomorrow that conflicts with the Florida hearing, but the FL judge is ordering everyone to appear in his court tomorrow, and not go to the Bahamas.
Why do these things always happen in Florida? Is there something in the water? I thought California was supposed to have a franchise on this stuff.
The big thing I don't understand about this hearing is that the judge is obviously compassionate towards Birkhead, but his lawyer keeps treating the judge like she's about to ass-rape him with her splintered broom. If it was me on the stand, I'd just tell her to shut it.

I wish they'd just give her body over to any damn one . . . this is the most ridiculous crap I've seen in ages. Fox News and CNN Headline News are both carrying this zircus attempting to pass itself off as a court of law LIVE! What a joke.
She's dead, unless someone murdered her, let her go. No one - in the big scheme of things - will remember or give a shit in 6 months.

Quoting ANCFlyer (Reply 19): I wish they'd just give her body over to any damn one
I think the judge should order a simple burial, let all the interested parties pony up an equal share, get Anna Nicole into the ground, then fight over it later. Whomever wins can exhume her body and bury it wherever they please. This whole fight is supposed to be about who gets to bury her, but it's turned into a circus of who loved her more, issues of paternity, and her prescriptions.
It's obvious she was an addict, and kept Stern around as her enabler. If Birkhead was her supplier, she'd never ever risk her supply by kicking him out as much as she did. What any of that has to do with who should get to bury her is beyond me.
