Because the 3 year failure that was the WUSA and their 4,500 average attendence wasn't enough to call it quits, the ladies are coming back for another go around. Perfect. Nothing like starting a new league with a whopping 5 teams with the grand plan to expand to 7 teams the following year.

Look, the US Women's Soccer Team is actually good. However nobody cares. Mia GarciaparaHamm endorses the league. Nice, no go get Nomar's icy hot ready because Spring Training is here so that means he's about 4 days from a trip to the D.L.

The new league is teaming up with MLS to help "share" costs. Look, the only reason the horse racing league errrrr WNBA is surviving is because the NBA is keeping it afloat with its cash infusions. The thing is, the NBA is highly successful. The MLS is far from successful, and they are going to be a crutch for another women's league? I'll love watching this fall apart.

lol... but not really. They win because nobody else will allow the women to train and play as much as we do.
they can't even beat mls teams.
I like the idea though, I know a whole bunch of girls who could get a chance to play now. I don't like the idea the mls helping out. The mls is just starting to become popular, and the mls needs to keep it's money to lure more stars over to the US, not support womens soccer.

I guess those queens who prance around in "men's" soccer aren't enough? And it's not like the chicks are even hot. Who wants to watch some bull dyke with tree trunk legs and a busted face running around a field all day? I believe that activity already exists by the name 'raising cattle'. And it's about as exciting as soccer, too.

If I wanted to be entertained by chicks kicking balls, I'd toss a few insults at some while wearing a steel cup.

But I hear they're trying to attract some top level talent like:

Norway is pretty good as well arent they? They always kick the Danish womens asses when they play.
I believe that USA, Norway and GErmany are the leading nations in womens soccer.

Unfortunate pics, but there is a team.  Wink

At women's football? Yeah, they've pretty much won the lot. If only the mens team played as well as them.*

Sounds like a definite red card to me...  Wink

Agreed, possibly China and France to that list too. (Although I'm not 100% on womens football...)

*In other words played against weak opponents. Some time ago the national womens team played a training match against a mens team from the 2nd division... and lost.

Btw...

You're going to cause real controversy with this one you know: You see, when it comes to women's football, no-one else cares either.  Wink

It's like the girls game we have called rounders. No-one's interested, though I understand some off-shoot called boseball or something has its followers...

Good, maybe the MLS will lose so much money trying to keep this league from folding, both leagues will fold.

You're right, those lady football players are so fugly.

Take USA midfielder Leslie Osborn, for example:

One of many, my friend. A quick example. But then if you'd ever spent any time watching Women's Football, you'd know that.

I won't give it that long, unless the MLS supports it financially 100% like the NBA does with the WNBA..

These soccer hotties are anything but bull dykes that look like grazing cattle. I'd massage, and kiss their sweaty bodies in a New York Nanosecond! But, your reply had me cracking up. And some of those men's soccer pictures are lets just say not my thing. I bet those randy players got all gooey wet over the Oscars. (Gay/Alternative Superbowl)

As far as Soccer "hotties" go, please. Mia GarciaparraHam is done playing. Chastadonna whoever was never hot. As Hung said, one looks like a peacock. Even if there is a hot soccer chick or two...chances are fellas...we're not their type anyway.

WHAT ???!!! Blokes play rounders ??  Wow! Dressed in pink I assume  Wink

Whyt can't they play a man's game ? That's just as ridiculous as women playing football.

Apparently so. Though I understand only in certain rather primitive outposts of the Anglosphere. One must indulge them, they know no better.  snooty

Men play rounders in Scotland, Australia and the US ??? Blimey I didn't realise it was that widespread ?

She's not very hot at all. Besides it's not the hotness of the players that's the issue here (I think most women would object to a league suceeding solely on its players looks) it's the crappy standard of play. MLS is bad enough, giving further publicity to shit quality football is really hurting the growth of the game in the States.
