I was often fascinated as a kid with people whose suitcases had those stickers that showed all those places they had been or all the airlines they had been on...

Now as a student that I get to travel a lot, I want to decorate my suitcase with stickers like that.... Any pointers where do you get such stickers/decals?

You know those tacky tourist shops that most normal people avoid at all costs? That's where you get the location stickers.

For other witty stickers like "If it aint Boeing, I'm not going", check aviation hobby stores.

I've a Sheraton Salzburg and a Marriott Amsterdam sticker on my suitcase--because they were in the stationery folder in my room. I thought it was kind of retro and could help identify my case in a field of Samsonite.

Outside of hotel rooms, etc., I've seen some on eBay every now and then. I'd start there. People will sell nearly every kind of travel doodad they can heist from a room or airplane there.

Thank you!

Ummm... Does that mean having those stickers on your luggage makes you the sure-shot-gullible tourist in a foreign place??  Smile  Confused

Save yourself the effort and just spraypaint "DORK" all over your valise. Cans of various color can be found in your local hardware store.

. . . . .

I got most of the "stickers" at various gift shops in airports. There's always some place selling them. I do not however put them on my luggage . . . the go on the back of my camper.

I take it your luggage is hardsided? You could also got the route of sewing patches from various places on softsided luggage. I'll see old suitcases with the old gummy labels on them and it really does fascinate me. I have an old steamer trunk my grandparents restored for me many years back that had the remains of a few of those type of labels on them. I had a footlocker I used to take to summer camp where I did the sticker thing to it as well.

Or down on 4th street around the theater and the Federal Building.

You know what would be fun?

1. Make a bunch of stickers that say, "Ramp rats are motherfuckers."
2. Stick them on the luggage of people who were rude to you at the airport (preferably they're on your flight).
3. Watch their their reactions at the baggage carousel at the destination airport.
