I went to Publix today to shop for grocieries.
I was very annoyed when not only did I get the usual "Is your bday in June?" trick ID question at checkout I got a nasty surprise that they were out of my $6.29 Staropramen 6 pack. Oh well...So I had to find a replacement. Czech Budvar and Pilsner Urquell were $7.99 both so I decided to roam into the "overhyped generic beer brand and sh**a*s American beer aisle"
But wait $6.99 for a 335ml 6 pack of Grolsch. So I said, that dirty Alaskan Walrus likes it, and its dutch so I will give it a try since I havent had it in a good year and forgot what it tastes like.
So now at 1:55AM and having my homework undone as of yet I popped a ice cold Grolsch open to only find my mouth longing for more. By 2:00AM, I am already on my 3rd bottle and I am drooling more than a St. Bernard (and its not because of Downs syndrome!)
So yes here it is to Grolsch!
P.S. I hate Publix, I only saved $1.04 on $40 of grocieries according to the checkout monitor...and those nazis asked me why I was buying such expensive beer.
Post here what fine brew you are drinking tonight!

Grolsch and Pilsner Urquell?? I could have told you that!!
A couple of times when we felt wealthy I had those under a tiki hut, along with my best friend, his friend and these two hot girls... talking for hours and hours through the muggy summer nights. Some of the best times I ever had.
My internet was not shut down, the internet has shut me down

Nah man. Take a shot of it.
It's quite an experience.
"Two and a Half Men" was filmed in front of a live ostrich.
Yesterday night I had a few glasses of Jever in a bar while watching football, when I came home I drunk three bottles of Kronen Export while posting some shit here on A.net.
Oh God, there is again football tonight and tomorrow, looks like a drunk week to me but that is good, I have to be in training for the next weekend.
And yes, Grolsch is quite ok, definitely better than Heineken.

Tonights fine brew will be Rickard's Red, actually, it's 10:00am, I've been working since midnight, so I'll crack one open now and sleep for a few hours and then get back into it a bit later on.

Only Grolsch (pils/lager) and the occasional San Miguel make it to our 'fridges. And Grolsch has done for twenty odd years Only bottles, no cans. None of that Heineken/Amstel/Bavaria/Hertog Jan muck here.

I am doing fridge maintenance tonight, because it is my night off. So I will be drinking 2 heinikens and 2 or so Shiner Bocks.. Even though Shiner gives me the shits. Thankfully I don't have to be anywhere until 5:00pm tomorow. Come to think of it.. I don't even like beer at all.. But I am too cheap to dump the shit out.

Rolling Rock is brewed now by Anhauser-Busch in New Jersey. The local brewery in Latrobe is owned by City Brewing; but I guess they don't even brew anything now

If you can ever get your hands on a Grolsch Kanon you must really try it. It is one of their special editions, and really nice. Might be a bit more expensive though, especially abroad.
