Ever Spent Time With A Crewmember After A Flight?

Hello all,

Was just wondering, have you ever met a crew member after a flight?

I got along with an F/A about a year ago on AF from ATL to CDG. We spent the whole flight talking. I was too shy to ask for his digits afterwards. Damn...

Any stories with a better ending here?

Next flights: AF ORY-TLN-ORY; CDG-BOD-CDG; KL CDG-AMS-ADD-AMS-CDG; AF CDG-ATL; DL ATL-MSY-ATL; AF ATL-CDG

Not directly after the flight and it was actually luck that I got in contact with her, I didn't ask her for her phone # after the flight but found her eMail address out via the airline intern phone book (we worked for the same airline, she as F/A, me in revenue accounting). I wrote her a few days later and we met in a bar, then I was together with her for approx. 4 years, we split up last year but it looks like we get together again.  cheerful

During an SAA flight JNB-DUR several years ago one of the flight attendants was smiling and winking at me the whole flight, the couple sitting next to me mentioned that I seemed to be getting special attention. She had a night stop in Durban so hitched a ride with me to town, we went to the pub for a few drinks then back to my hotel for a great night. The next morning I took her to the crew hotel for the transport back to the airport.

The best part was.. when I got home that night she had my dinner all ready!  Wink

Not after a flight, but certainly during.

I ate lunch with an AirTran female pilot at MCO. There were not any open tables, so she asked if she could sit with me and my buddy-she was between flights, so we talked about flying at stuff. Real nice lady

BTW, does an Airliners.net crew member count?

If so, I've been out drinking with ANCFlyer and Srbmod after our flights in Las Vegas.
Other crew members I've spend time with on different occasions was Mirrode, KROC and USFHummer.

I know a few UA flight attendants I've meet on flights that I am good friends with.

Does it count if you did spend some time, but you are a member of the crew as well?

How about before the flight. I was in a motel bar in Mexico and got talking to this guy, we had a few drinks.

Saw him the next morning when I boarded, he was the Captain.

Bit surprised then, found out later that, as it was more than 8 hours (just) it was all OK.

When I flew down to MSY to look for a place before moving here, I ended up meeting a beautiful, young F/A on WN63 which was a stopping flight that I flew MSY-HOU-ELP-LAX. We swapped phone numbers and she called me as I was on the road back home. Needless to say, I turned around and headed to the crew hotel.

Several times. I've found that crews appreciate having someone different (than the ones their on the trip with) to talk to, and especially if its just sitting around chatting, appreciate doing something than watching bad movies in their layover motel! Of course, there are plenty that wanted to do more than 'chat' too!  Wink

Back in 2001, a deadhead stewart (along with his colleagues) on ORD-SAN flight took me me to crew's hotel in SAN, and then we took cab to Hillcrest where I was dropped off. Before that, I inquired him on cab fare to Hillcrest from SAN and he offered me to go with him after landing in SAN. Nice of him.
