Not directly after the flight and it was actually luck that I got in contact with her, I didn't ask her for her phone # after the flight but found her eMail address out via the airline intern phone book (we worked for the same airline, she as F/A, me in revenue accounting). I wrote her a few days later and we met in a bar, then I was together with her for approx. 4 years, we split up last year but it looks like we get together again.

During an SAA flight JNB-DUR several years ago one of the flight attendants was smiling and winking at me the whole flight, the couple sitting next to me mentioned that I seemed to be getting special attention. She had a night stop in Durban so hitched a ride with me to town, we went to the pub for a few drinks then back to my hotel for a great night. The next morning I took her to the crew hotel for the transport back to the airport.
The best part was.. when I got home that night she had my dinner all ready!
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

I ate lunch with an AirTran female pilot at MCO. There were not any open tables, so she asked if she could sit with me and my buddy-she was between flights, so we talked about flying at stuff. Real nice lady

When I flew down to MSY to look for a place before moving here, I ended up meeting a beautiful, young F/A on WN63 which was a stopping flight that I flew MSY-HOU-ELP-LAX. We swapped phone numbers and she called me as I was on the road back home. Needless to say, I turned around and headed to the crew hotel.

Several times. I've found that crews appreciate having someone different (than the ones their on the trip with) to talk to, and especially if its just sitting around chatting, appreciate doing something than watching bad movies in their layover motel! Of course, there are plenty that wanted to do more than 'chat' too!

Back in 2001, a deadhead stewart (along with his colleagues) on ORD-SAN flight took me me to crew's hotel in SAN, and then we took cab to Hillcrest where I was dropped off. Before that, I inquired him on cab fare to Hillcrest from SAN and he offered me to go with him after landing in SAN. Nice of him.
