Well folks, it's just about that time of year. Do you do any special cleaning before/during spring?
As for me, I started today on my room, getting rid of clothes I no longer wear and just oddball trash. This weekend, I will clean my entire apartment from top to bottom. Usually spend 1 full day cleaning everything. I do this twice a year.

Oh you bet. Up here in Oregon there are very few days we can open windows during the winter and give things a good airing out. Monday and Tuesday were sunny and warmish, so I had all the windows open and started tossing things out that were worn out, or I didn't need any longer.
My general rule is if I haven't worn or used something for three years, out it goes, unless it's a special-purpose item that's worth hanging onto.

Spring Cleanup is part of the job. Time to sweep all of the salt off of the roadways and walkways that I've salted in the winter, prune the trees/shrubs/bushes and get everything ready for the planting season.
As for cleaning the house, I don't do a spring cleanup, I just try to keep it clean year round.

My housework all gets done on a Thursday morning (oh feck, that's today ) but as we live in quite a minimalist apartment, it's easy to keep the place clean. If I do a good job each week, the place doesn't need a spring clean although I did redecorate the living room last week, introducing some nice lime green accessories and crisp white walls - it looks fresh and clean for the spring.
