Save Big Money At Menards

This guy nailed it. Menards uses a strange logic in their store layout. Anyone else notice this?

I needed a new range hood and found it next to dryer ducts. I needed a space heater and found it next to barbeque grills. I needed sheetrock screws and found them next to the candy aisle.

This thread is one of the things that make me glad I am no where near the Chicago/mid-west area. If I have to hear that jingle more then 5 times in the REST of my life; I will go on a shooting spree!!

I like it....

I am a big fan of Rural King. They have stores in Illinois and Indiana, one in Michigan, in the farm country. Great place...

If you need a Oliver Tractor T-shirt or hat it is the place to go. I bought a Farmall Tractor T-shirt the last time as was at the Waterloo, IL location.

I am not a big fan on Home Depot for a few reasons (customer service, or lack there of, is a big reason), Lowes is better. I am also a big fan of Canadian Tyre. Never been to a Menards. I can only imagine, though.

The store itself isn't that bad...but the advertising...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I'm glad I go to school in Atlanta (I'm originally from the Chicago area).

Any point he was making was nullified by the fact he spoke like a fucking moron. Is he trying out for some announcing job?

And is it just me, or is there what sounds like a running toilet in the background? Maybe he went to Menards to get the stuff to fix it, came up with his brilliant, witty little "menarted" retort and raced home to make a video about it, utilizing the voice lessons his mom wasted money on.

i like Menard's. our family's done business with them for years and well, let's just say that they've done so much business that the company sends mommy and daddy gifts on their anniversary. even my butch self is able to buy things here and there from the store ... and i seem to be helped on a lot by some unsuspecting bright eyed eyelash-bashing young individual who seems eager to provide service.

I don't like Home Depot because it is so big I never can find anything if I am looking for something small.

Home Depot is a mess....

Lowe's is much better where I live. Especially the deals you can find on clearance. I stop by often on my lunch break just to see what they've put out. A few weeks ago I got my wife a $1,200 stove for $350...

I love Canadian Tire... When I was in Ottawa over the holidays I got a lot of cool stuff for great prices...
