Well... This is not a contest of talent, nor is it about quality.
When a bunch like this can win...
... the EUROVISION SONG CONTESTthen I say that the award is up for graps.
I wouldn't put my money on anyone at this stage...

I am glad to see The Ark win, I think this is the first time in awhile that a song I liked has gone on too the ESC final from Sweden. I remember the first time seeing The Ark in 1999/2000 when they were opening for Kent. Since then I have always liked their music.
I especially liked the part when they went right past Carola instead of getting the trophy.
I wish Jesus would turn up the windblower though, so she gets blown away.
And I am happy for Soumi, I just wish that the winners weren't anitchrist... maybe this year we can find something in between "Holy Jesus" and "Holy Shit".

Not any Lordi fan myself, but they are no satanists, just big kids.
I am so happy Ark is there this year, they bring some quality, I just wish they had picked some other song though.
Anyway, there is a big chance ESC 2008 will be seen in Globen. And that always mean a good show.
P.S It's actually SUOMI ...I know, SOUMI sounds more easy

Aw, they weren't that bad. Catchy tune, good show. If the same song had been performed in eurovision-style, everyone would have voted for it (and mind you, quite a few did so anyway). And I think the contest needed some shaking up, changing of attitudes etc.
Anyways, The Ark rule, the song kicks ass, hopefully a tune the audiences will remember.
Cheers
Mats
Sure, we're concerned for our lives. Just not as concerned as saving 9 bucks on a roundtrip to Ft. Myers.

Yeah, before 2006, what was your track record when it comes to Eurovision?

I just learnt that: 6th Generally speaking, until 2006 ESC wasn't anything special in Finland, more like one Saturday show among others. Curious how the final show will be, seems rather relaxed and less touristic than in Athens, some new technical tricks expected.
The hosts look like this:
P.S Arja Saijonmaa was one of the candidates, she would have been my choice, we even come from the same small town
