Hi,
would be nice to see pics of your neighbourhood!
This is the area by the sea in southern Helsinki where I live and work, called Ruoholahti, or Gräsviken in Swedish. The photo is taken Oct 2006. The building back there in the middle is the hotel Radisson SAS Seaside:

This is the area around my house, Campo Marzio, in downtown Trieste.





And this is the only photo I could find of the main street of Gorizia, where I live 5 days a week...my house is just behind the yellow building.
