For the prog rock fans, any fans of Saga?

They are a Canadian prog band but not very well known in North America. They are more popular in Western Europe.
Only one big hit in the United States back in 1982.
Yet they have 17 albums and still touring.

Damn Fly,

You are going back to way back when...

I thought their stuff was good. But back in the 80's Rush eclipsed all other acts for me. They still do.

Yes indeed!

RUSH has a new album coming out this year and I'll see them again on tour.

Saga is definatly in the same genre of RUSH.
Both just so happen to be Canadian too.

I actually met members of Saga along with Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson at a tennis match back in 1990.

Sorry 'fly, just another one-hit wonder from the early 80's. Although I must admit, since you started this thread I can't seem to get that friggin song out of my head.

Glad I am making an impact.  Smile

Sure they are a one hit wonder but they have a loyal following. 17 albums is very impressive.

Theredbaron:
Does Saga have a following in Mexico?
The band made there break in Puerto Rico. They are known throughout continental Europe also.
Do they ever tour down in Mexico?
