I have Adblock, Fashblock, Smiley4, Weather, and the Countdown Clock. I really like having the Ad and Flash blockers.

Too many to list but the must haves are: Adblock Plus, Adblock filterset G Updater, Update Notifier, Tab Mix Plus, and IE Tab.

While on the topic of add ons, which ones do you Internet Explorer users use? Oh, wait, IE can't be improved by it's users. I forgot. You're at the beck and call of Microsoft. So sorry.

*yawn* yet more FUD.

IE has had a plugin system since IE3 - adequetly documented on MSDN. Just because its never been widely used by the community doesnt mean it doesnt exist.

Really? I didn't know that. Please share with me what IE plugin I can use that will completely block pop up and banner ads like adblock plus does with Firefox. While you're at it, perhaps you can also shed some light on what IE plugin will allow me to literally build any search engine I want into the search bar like any version of Firefox does without having the need for any add ons. What IE plugin can I use that will allow me to view a particular website in Firefox? What IE plugin can I use that will allow me to highlight any word on any website and by right clicking, be given the definition, synonym, or antonym of the highlighted word? What IE plugin can I use that will allow me to highlight an address on any website and by right clicking on it, be taken to the mapping program of my choice that will locate the address for me? What IE plugin can I use that will allow me to monitor my favorite sports teams with up to the second scores via a scrolling message within my browser? What IE plugin can I use that will give me a choice of several hundred different themes to view my browser in?

Oh, and by the way, you spelled "adequately" wrong. Had you been using Firefox with it's built in spell checker, you would have known that.

Right, so because its not widely used means it never existed.

Your point is?

*shakes head*

I use AdBlock Plus, WeatherFox (or whatever it's called), the plugin that lets me download streaming video, and IE tab.

When you're done shaking your head, perhaps you'll either tell me where I can find the IE plugins that I requested or have the decency to admit that Firefox is a far more manageable and secure browser than IE. Simple enough for you?

ForecastFox... I have that one as well. Good for comparing the weather in sunny Guatemala vs. snowy Minnesota, eh?  Wink

Here at work I have Adblock Plus, Gmail Manager, MinimizeToTray, and Session Manager. I have many more at home, will post them later...

Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.
