I had the same problem, but only when I actually tried to go to www.gmail.com. If you went to www.google.com/mail, it worked.

Its odd. I can log into one account but not the other. Is there a reason I'm getting the error for one, and not the other?

Thanks.

Yahoo does that to me a lot. I'm guessing its the server my account is on is messed up, but the other account is on a different server, and works.

Or, maybe I'm completely off.  Smile

Just got it back up and running. Emails are coming in mixed though. Emails are showing the proper times of arrival but coming in all messed up. I looked when it first came up and no new emails since Noon. Then when I get back an hour later there was one at 4:30. Check back a few min. later and there's one from 2:27 that wasn't there. Now seeing it again and there is one at 12:45. Is this also normal? Sorry, don't mean to ask as if you know all answers, but I have been using Gmail for over two years without any of these problems.

Thanks

I started having these problems a couple weeks ago, so I searched, and found that a lot of people randomly have problems with Gmail.

Some people eventually get all their mail, and some just lose it.

I guess thats why it's still beta!

Had it happen several times... and now that I think about it, a friend mentioned having problems sending mails yesterday, so it may have been a general issue.

Then why, when you go to www.gmail.com, does it say "GMAIL Beta"?

Guess they didn't change the logo  Silly The signup link is available at that page, though.
