Hi Everyone!!!
This is truly a wonderful day for my family and me! My little girl, Savanna, after more than a year of treatment, is FINALLY finished with her chemotherapy treatments!! As many of you remember, My (at the time she was one and half years old) baby girl was diagnosed with Pluropulmonary Blastoma. This is a very rare childhood lung cancer that has only affected about 160 kids worldwide since 1977. After a couple of surgeries her cancer has gone into remission but we still had to continue with her chemo treatment plans. We are so thankful for the outpouring of love and support brought on by those of you here on A.net all over the world! I invite EVERYONE to visit and sign her guestbook to let her know and show her your continued words of praise and support! Thanks for keeping Savanna in your prayers!!

Excellent, excellent news. Such a traumatic experience for anyone, much less a little girl. I'm thankful every day that my daughter is happy and healthy. I feel for your pain and what Savanna had to endure. Hopefully, she's beaten this disease and she'll continue to be happy and healthy as well!

Congrats!
Now if we could get my 84 year old grandmother to finish with her chemo.
Everytime some celebrity/politician announces they have a recourance she uses it as justification to cancel the remaining two treatments.
I have a bad feeling this isn't going to end well.

That is truly outstanding news! Hopefully, your little girl is one of the great survival stories of how far we've come in beating cancer, even though we have a long way to go.
God speed, and may this be the start of a great year for your family.

For this joyous occasion I'll risk getting that e-mail scolding me for typing that in all caps!
May this be the first of many happy days for Savanna, you and your family. Has your little girl ever flown?
Whether she has or not, now is the time. If you can swing it, Mickey Mouse and company await.
