What? Most of the predictions I've seen/heard/read are positive about the Astros' prospects. They've either had 'em winning the division or coming in second. They lost alot, but I think they'll be OK.

Their pitching is my biggest concern. Besides Oswalt, they don't have much.

The Mets stated off their season on a good note as they beat up my wife's Cardinals. Akways good too see. The consensus on the Mets is that either their hitting will carry them through, or their pitching will sink them like a patanted August tank job by the Red Sox. We'll see.

Some of the experts are expecting big things from the young Diamondbacks. Steady front line pitching from the starters, but no impact power players, so somewhere around 84-87 wins..

I'm going to the home opener here in MN for the Twins vs. Orioles game. Should be a good season in my opinion as they did quite well last season (especially at the end).

The Yankees won a back-and-forth home opener. A-rod homered and hustled his ass off, Jorge hit a homer too, and Mariano made the talented but inexperienced Tampa Bay hitters look foolish. A good start.

NIce comeback win for the Braves today.

Renteria came up big, with 2 HR's. One in the 8th inning to tie it up, and then one in the 10th to ultimately win it.

154 AAce24 : Another quality start from Tim Hudson. Its about damn time he started pitching like he should. Its taken two years. 6-1.
155 Post contains images Piercey : Wow. I just saw that game outsold the Braves game I went to last night (18,309). That's embarrassing, ATL. piercey in ATL
156 Post contains images Mir : Daisuke Matsuzaka wasn't good enough for the Red Sox tonight, as they got flat-out owned by Felix Hernandez, who at the ripe old age of 21 has stuff t
