There has been a shooting at the CNN Center Complex in Atlanta

ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- A gunman shot a woman Tuesday at Atlanta's CNN Center complex. A witness who is a CNN employee saw a male shoot a black female twice near the Omni Hotel, which is part of CNN Center.

Police have a suspect in custody. The condition of the woman is unknown.

CNN tends to get too wrapped up in local news stories. There are shootings in large cities every day. The reason this is 'breaking news' is because CNN has cameras nearby.

It's just a shooting if they are going to report all the shootings, they might as well have a 3h per day news buletin

It is now reported that the guy had a murder conviction (third degree) in July 1992 and was only sentenced to 10 years in prison (??), served 5 years of the sentence (WTF?) and later was charged with sex w/a minor.
