Mark and other train geeks Wink I need your help. I wanna upload these three photos to RailPictures, but have no idea what they are and who they belong to. Can somebody please identify them?

This one I know is in the database, so I can figure this out:

I uploaded them to a Norwegian railroad forum, hence the copyright in the corner. I'd obviously upload the originals after some Photoshop play Smile

I am nowhere near as good with locomotive identification as I am with aircraft, so the other guys, like AsstChiefMark can correct me as needed:

#1 EMD SW1500 (?)
#2 I don't know
#3 EMD SD40

#2 is the GE 44 tonner.

#3 is a nice big UP engine.

Should be lots of MP15 pics around, and you'll see the radiator is way different, the trucks are different, and the MP15's 12-cyl engine has two exhaust stacks.

That two axel Ge is indeed a rarity-a lot of the railroads that operate GEs like that have to have the four axels for weight loading on the rails. SD-40-2s are nice units, but I sure wouldn't want one in the summertime!
