Haha I totally agree with you on all of your thoughts/predictions (although I did pick CU over Oregon). I'm glad BYU got beat, I thought Fla St. would lose, and I think that Illinois will kill LSU (LSU is really not that great for anyone who lives outside of the SEC). Florida (who is not starting the best QB Grossman b/c he missed curfew) will (I think) find a tough Maryland team that is ready to play; however Florida has much more talent and should win by about 10 I think. Finally, I hope Miami kills Nebraska who is a team limited on offense and slow on defense.

Yeah I agree with the above except that I picked CU (it'll probably cost me in the office pool too). I'm picking Illinois to win a close one over LSU, and the Florida-Maryland game will be closer than most expect. Miami will probably bitch-slap Nebraska.

Happy New Year to you as well Eric505. Colorado got WAXED. I love it. I picked them to win as well, but am glad they lost. I did think they were overrated though. There Defense still gave up scores of points in there big wins. LSU is not that good as mentioned. Grossman will play sometime for Florida. Either way, Maryland had a very week schedule (71st), and are primed to get blasted by Florida. I could be a good QB in the UF offense. As for Nebraska. I think they are primed to lose big as well. Miami has a tremendous Defense, a swarming Defense, something that Crouch hasn't seen all year. I think dude is gonna get shut down big time.

Don't you think its pathetic when a team makes it to the BCS and gets beat by 33 points? I'm sorry, but I don't even think Maryland has beaten a top 25 team all year. Something needs to be done to prevent this kind of worthless bashing in the seemingly prestigious and prodigious Orange Bowl.

The LSU/Illini & Florida/Maryland games were pathetic...The Big 10 really looked miserable in their bowl games, except for Iowa, they pretty much shut down a high-powered Texas Tech team, congrats to them. I am also glad to see Oregon absolutely kill the classless 'buffs, maybe now Gary Barnett will shut his pie-hole about the BCS.
One more game to go...It will be interesting to see you Husker bashers backpedal after they beat Miami. The whole country is against them (why I have no idea, they have no influence over the BCS), which is just the fuel they need to put together a smacking of Miami. When they play their best football, there is not a team in the country that can touch them...As for Miami, BC and Virginia Tech had them on the ropes, none are nearly as good as Nebraska.

AGL, you seem like an intelligent guy...but I have been wrong before. Nobody is against Nebraska, nor do they think that they are a bad team. Everyone is against them playing for the national title, when they didn't even win there division, much less there conference. I thought the Buff's were overrated, because me and you could score on there Defense as a QB/WR tandem. And no team with 2 loses should be crying about national titles when there were several 1 loss teams ahead of them. As for Miami, they are clearly the best team in the nation. They may have struggled against BC and VT, but Both were good teams, especially VT. Great defence in VT. Nebraska struggled...matter of fact, they had 63 points dropped on them in one game. ONE GAME. NEXT. Oregon struggled in several games. Where is your mention of that? One last thought, if Miami should lose, they will be 11-1. Why should they not get a piece of the national championship? They will have as many losses as Oregon (and played a tougher schedule), and Nebraska? Just a thought.
Oh oh oh, and one last thing about the backlash against Nebraska. Realize it should be against the BCS, because the BCS is supposed to create 1 national champion, and here you are, glossing Nebraska/Oregon National Champs. Come on dude. No matter what happenes, especially dual National Champs, the BCS is failing and will have failed. Clearly the Title game should have been Miami vs. Oregon this year............. Helen Keller can see that.
