Well the Sunday funnies just got a bit more boring.

Johnny Hart the creater of the BC comic strip died of a stroke.

I hope they discontinue that humorless waste of comic strip space. It ranks up there with "Family Circus" and "Heathcliff" on the list of just plain stupid comics.

While I agree that some of the B.C. strips were very dry or stupidly silly, I think that was Hart's intention all along. He was one of my favorite cartoonists, especially when he made bold statements about his faith. Thank God for men like him, who made use of his talent to spread the Gospel without qualms.

R.I.P. Johnny Hart. Hart gots wings!
