WASHINGTON, DC—Democrats in both houses of Congress demanded a thorough inquiry Monday into whether or not the American people think they are doing a good enough job, and what, if anything, they should do differently.
"We cannot afford to make a wrong move as we face this crucial crossroads in our nation's history, which is why we need to know for sure what decision you'll support the most before we make it," said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser Monday, scrutinizing the assembled crowd for signs of approval. "The question facing us today is simple: Do you like us? If not, why? We demand an answer."

You believe everything you see and read on the Internet? Ê
I am glad you are reading the Onion. I get a copy every week.
I always get a good laugh.
The other day I had a meeting at the Pentagon. When I emerged from the Metro station, I had the occasion to walk past a row of newspaper vending machines. There, along with The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Examiner, USA Today, etc, was a vending machine for no other than The Onion.
I had a good laugh to see that The Onion is molding opinions at the largest and most powerful office building in the country.

Hmmm. . . Might explain some of that 'intelligence' from pre-2003!
LOL, but sorry, the Onion newstands are a relatively new addition, from what I recall.
