Looking For A Classical Guitar

I am looking for a good quality Spanish-made classical guitar. I've been wanting one for years; I love its sound and playing style.

I have been playing the acoustic steel-string guitar since 2001 (I own an Epiphone Hummingbird). I am a lifelong musician (piano since 1984 and self-taught violin since 2005). My favourite style of guitar playing is classical-style fingerpicking, especially arpeggios and PIMA fingering. I also like to experiment with my guitar playing (and write my own arrangements for guitar as well as for violin). I read standard music notation (not TAB), and I am classically trained in piano.

Right now I'm in London (until early June), then I will be (most likely) moving out to San Francisco in September to start my PhD in craniofacial embryology. So I am trying to decide whether to get one here in London in the short time I have left, or wait until I get to San Francisco, where I have more time (and maybe more money).

Does anyone here own a Spanish-made classical guitar, or any good-quality classical guitar? Who is the maker? Do you like yours? Any recommendations?

Where in San Francisco is a good music store specialising in guitars?

Wait until you get out here. Let stuff to haul out here when you in the process of moving. England is more expensive so my guess is that you can find one cheaper out here. Plenty of failed musicians out here too that unload there eqipument rather cheap.

There are a few. It depends on how much you want to spend. There is a place that is 10 minute train ride from UCSF called Peacock Guitar located in the Castro district. They are very pricey but have quality handmade guitars there.
DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT buy a guitar from the Haight/Ashbury music center!  no
They are a rip off. Only buy strings and guitar picks from them.
There are plenty of places down the Peninsula such as Starving Musicians and Guitar showcase. Then there is always Craigslist.org.
