Ok something came up at work the other night and we started talking about the greased up deaf guy on Family guy.
Anyway, it is pretty much accepted fact that Family Guy steals every joke from somewhere. I don't have a problem with this, in fact, I like it. I just cannot place where the greased up deaf guy came from. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Don't you know? Dolphins pick balls from three different baskets to make a joke. For example: In this case the dolphins would pick the balls and the balls would say something like deaf, greasy, and high-pitched voice.
Signed,
South Park.
The proper term is "on final" not "on finals" bud...

Well, It's from about 10 different movies I can think of off the top of my head including: Under Siege 2, one of the Indiana Jones movies, at least one James Bond movie, etc. and a few B movies that I don't remember the titles of.

Quoting Walter747 (Reply 6): I hope everyone knows that there is no Quahog, RI.
From Wikipedia:
Seth MacFarlane, the show's creator, had been a resident of Rhode Island, and leaves unequivocal Rhode Island landmarks from which one may infer intended locations for events.
Several times every episode, the actual Providence skyline can be seen in the distance. The three buildings that are depicted are, from left to right and furthest to closest, One Financial Center, 50 Kennedy Plaza, and the Bank of America Tower. This ordering of buildings and the angle at which they are viewed (see figure at right) indicates that Quahog is primarily west of downtown Providence. If Quahog is to have a counterpart in Rhode Island geography and be consistent with this, it would have to be either Johnston, Cranston, North Providence, Scituate, or a western portion of Providence itself. However, in a few episodes Quahog is shown to have a coastline (see "Fifteen Minutes of Shame", "Fore Father", and "The Perfect Castaway"), which only Cranston and Providence possess. This is supported by the fact that the real-world "31 Spooner Street" is located in Cranston, immediately west of Roger Williams Park. In "E Peterbus Unum" A map of Rhode Island is shown with Quahog shown in red.

Quoting Walter747 (Reply 12): I didn't know that Seth McFarlane lived in RI.
Another item to mention, he was supposed to be on one of the Boston flights that went down on 9-11. He missed boarding by no more than 10 minutes.
