I Took A Few Swallows... (Spam Hall Of Fame)

Thought I'd share this, sometimes even a spam mail can be funny:

Quote:
I took a few swallows right out of the bottle, stripped down to the skin, climbed into the bath, and turned on the radio.

But not every man patient after the noble temper of your lordship.

That's all. Maybe there's an HTML message annexed, but my webmail service doesn't show anything; maybe for the very good reason of not letting people screw themselves by opening it.

So what about the noble temper of a ladyship? Big grin

I believe those spam messages are generated automatically out of random words, I guess some of them can make moderate sense...

In the same category, typing =rand(99,99) then press enter on a blank microsoft Word page also gives you a funny result...

I got! Maybe all German versions of Word give the same result. This reminds me a bit of the old Windows 98 "You_are_a_real_rascal" days... sniff! BTW, how are things your end?

Swamped with work, Kids have been falling off trees and toys in the playgrounds like rotten fruit - just operated on a humerus fracture, and we get 4-5 new fractures a day. Can you imagine that we have to admit patients in pediatrics because of sheer lack of space in our wards?

How's it going with you? The exam?

Ouch... well it wasn't quite empty when I visited, and that was without snow and ice. I guess the x-ray meetings aren't exactly thrilling these days?  Wink

Quoting Flyingbabydoc (Reply 13):

short answer:  biggrin   biggrin   biggrin

long answer: I passed on my final attempt even though I was more demotivated than ever before, but after I had learned the result my "it's all a lottery anyway" feeling subsided a bit and gave way to "this time, I had the right strategy" which is always a nice touch. I'll be celebrating my birthday in some hall taking the first day of the "Physikum" though, but oh well - it's my own "fault" after all.

I am not sure what the other languages have... but in english "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" is the shortest sentence that makes sense that contains all the letters.

Yes, it depends on what language version of word is installed.

Oh, ok, so this actually makes sense after all... Interesting. I'd never have thought of it that way.

That probably depends on the loads it has to, umm, carry. I mean, there's a difference between a coconut and lighter nuts that you have to factor in! Additionally, not all nuts have a husk suitable for grabbing.
