LOS ANGELES - A videotape made by David Hasselhoff’s daughters shows the recovering alcoholic falling off the wagon, Hasselhoff acknowledged Thursday, but the actor added that he is doing much better since it was made.

What's wrong with these Hollywood brats that they release these tapes of their damned fool fathers to the press?

I mean isn't washing one's dirty linen in public totally declasse?

I read something about this one elsewhere that he had asked his kids to make a film of him when he went on a bender so he could later on see how much of an ass he was while drunk.

As for the tape being made public...methinks he's worried that he is fading out of the public eye and needed to be heard from.

Yes, I know it's only Thursday.

Or Margaret Salinger who wrote a vindictive book called Dream Catcher about her father while he is alive. She was an unknown and untalented writer exploiting her secretive father for fat cash.

Maybe Hasslehof's kids wanted their dad to live, to get under control for his apparent very serious alcohol problem. Let us hope he does get under control.

Connected? Maybe. Attention whore? Probably. I just get a little suspicious when these sort of tapes or even the sex tapes make their way into the public. I have a hunch (not saying this one is but who knows) that a lot of them are released by the very people who claim they never wanted it released.

If you can get famous for being in second rate TV shows about a talking car that fights crime, something about lifeguards, and then a follow-on show about lifeguards where he tries to root out the Sasquatch under the Santa Monica Pier at night then sign my ass up!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot...the Krauts like his singing and sexy dance stylings. Yeah, sign me up. I wanna be famous too!

If he has 200 mil and I am one of his kids, I'm not taping him falling off the sober wagon for fear that I would loose my cut of the loot. Rich kids have no common sense.  Wink

He looks like a beached whale trying to survive.

To add, I don't think the Hoff really compares with Baldwin. Baldwin's case is one of anger and aggression, while the Hoff just seems like an alcoholic who needs help.
