WOW... I do not know what to say... I hope these cobra's are not poisonous but still to me this is way to extreme.

If you read the second comment it says they defang the snakes, so they are harmless. As for the child's parents, I'm not sure what they are thinking.

OK, thanks I usually do not read the comments attached as they are usually garbage and hard to read. But honestly de-fanged or not... what if the kid enjoys this and goes and finds a wild snake to play with...

They also sew the cobra's lips shut.

No matter how 'safe' you make the snake (even if it wasn't poisionus) having a snake lunge in an attacking manner to a 6 month old child is disturbing. If for nothing else imprinting on the child that playing with snakes is harmless.

Whatever, NEXT.

I'm going to have to disagree on this one (what else is new ...  Big grin ). So, it's obvious that the snake has been de-fanged, and possibly had it's mouth sewn shut, so where is the danger?

The way I see it different countries, different cultures and we North American's are busy enough throwing on helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, jock straps, goggles (and Lord only knows what else) just so they can go play in a padded playroom at McDonalds. That to me, is more disturbing.

Interesting.
I hope the kid never comes accross another Cobra & presumes that has been domesticated.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that. Let's look at it from a different perspective. Perhaps this childs family are snake charmers, and in many countries, children follow the footsteps of their parents. So, perhaps this is good way in teaching a child the dangers of the snake at a very young age. Again, just a different point of view.

Putting your child with an animal that is actively trying to kill him is disturbing. Hearing other people laugh about it is equally disturbing.
