Sometimes I let my emails pile up, usually because I am too lazy to delete them after I open them up. I finally went through and cleaned out my inbox today, which had about 1100 emails in it. So what's the most emails you've ever let pile up?

Well over 30,000, at which point my inbox was declared full... Now that was 7 months ago, and I was getting 300 at least a day from several web-rings... so heaven only knows how many there are now, theoretically waiting to arrive!

Imagine the number if you include the spam emails......
I think the most I've ever had in one of my personal email accounts was well over 1000 in my Yahoo! account a number of years back when they didn't offer as much space as they do now. I went several weeks without checking any of my email accounts (at the time I didn't own a computer and would check my emails whenever I had the chance to be around one).

Spam is no problem for me, I do not use the A.net GMail account but another GMail account, fortunately is my A.net GMail account not forwarding spam to the account I view my eMails with. Usually I have not more than 4 or 5 a day in my spam folder.
By the way: Imagine the number of emails we got when GMail would not keep messages (until the 61st reply) in context as you can see in the screenshot below:

On my Yahoo account, I thankfully get no spam (my old Earthlink account was INUNDATED with it), so it's not as bad... I only delete certain emails (mostly ones from Yahoo groups that I don't even care about). That said, since I established the Yahoo address last June, I have around 1000 messages read and sitting in the inbox.

Erm, when my spam was at its height, it was 650 or so a day. Letting it pile up was not an option. Then it disappeared nearly as mysteriously as it arrived. Now my Mailwasher log shows a "peak" of 4 spams a day. Wish I knew why it came, or what happened to stop it.

I clear my inbox everytime I check my email, so I don't ever have more than 15 or so. I do archive almost everything (besides junk) in folders though, and have about 450 built up. I clear the folders out when things are completely irrelevant.
