Time for a feel-good thread for a change!
The other day I was chatting with a friend, and we're both complaining about our jobs, and he tells me about having to work on his free day, and the idiots at work, and other assorted stuff... and then he goes 'well, the good thing is, I get blessed with your company'. Really brightened up my day!

I got my marks for English yesterday 81%, 3rd best male stufent in my year and I didn't even do much to get it. This made me feel much better as we had just watched a DVD about poetry for an hour.
Next week half yearly exams start which isn't good.
My next "feel good day" will be June 14th. That's the day I board a US Airways Express CRJ-700 in Atlanta and return home from Field Training for Air Force ROTC (our equivalent of Basic Training). Normally between now and then I would be looking to forward to the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend, because that's the Indianapolis 500 and then June 1st, my birthday. But I'll be a Field Training for both.

I've been completely stressed out for the last 2 weeks because of two final exams I have this coming Monday. I'm still stressed out by them, however, I had my first exam today that went better than I thought it would. That made my day today

pffffft. Lightweight. I had FIVE finals over FOUR days last week at Purdue. In order:
Mon: Aerodynamics
Tues: Differential Equations II
Wed: 8am Jet Propulsion, 330pm Control Systems Analysis
Thurs: Dynamics and Vibrations.
Try that on for size. Thirsty Thursday was extra thirsty that night!

Recently, I set up a forum to provide support and an online workshop for my client's customers who want more then just the manual. Two out of eleven who joined the workshop at first didn't realize we were communicating via a forum, started new threads by responding to already existing threads, posted in the wrong sub-forums, used full-quotes and on top of that got upset when they realized that other participants were able to read their "e-mails" as well.
A couple of days later I found a small packet from my client in my letterbox with a bar of Lind chocolate ("XL size - Now extra big") and a card which read "Hi, We were browsing through the forum entries and we figured you could need some comfort food. Don't let them bring you down".

Mine is really rather simple. This morning I went out for a walk at 5am and along my way through the old bridleways I found a lovely birch stick/log which I can turn into a new walking staff once it's dried out a little.
