Kudos to Mr. Gregory Floyd. Thank you for making the world slightly less shitty, as well as saving us tax dollars from his 20-year trial-sentence-appeal-injection period.

I would prefer if cops weren't shot in the first place, but good to see a citizen sheep turned sheepdog.

911, where is your emergency?

Of course, their will be an investigation where Mr. Floyd will have to justify his actions as their should be. I do expect that as he killed a cop killer who could have killed others, Mr. Floyd did a public service and indeed comes off as a hero.
One twist of this story was that the jerk who killed the cop is a relative of ex-world class snow skier Bode Miller. Miller announced after this horrible incident that he is resigning from the US Ski Team.

In Alaska there'd be a cursory glance at the case. That would be the end of that.

Well done Mr. Floyd.

I thought that Miller had already decided to break ties with the USA team before the incident... I could be wrong though.

Wow, I grew up right down the road from Franconia, NH.

Sorry for the police officer and his family... but I can't say the same for the other guy.

I'm sure there's no history of mental illness or substance abuse in Bode Miller's family  Wink . What a gutsy guy to grab the gun and shoot the perp. Congrats to him.

Yes, it's at least somewhat comforting to know there are still people in society at large who have the brains and balls to do the right thing.
