I usually crawl into bed around 12:30am and always get up at 6am. So I guess I get 5 1/2 hours sleep a night.

That is pretty usual for me too, although the latter is not by choice. I love sleep and love the rare weekend feeling of being able to turn over and go back to sleep when I have forgotten to turn my alarm off after the working week.

On a school night I will usually get around 7 1/2 hours of sleep. Unless I have to work I will then get around 6 to 6 1/2 hours. On the weekend I will get like 9 to 11 1/2 hours.

Well, during the school year I get around 5-6 hours of sleep. On weekends or during summer break I average around 9-10 hours, unless I go to work that day I get around 7-8.

I hear ya......I sometimes get to roll over and get an extra hour of sleep on the weekend, but not too often as my 3 cats and 1 dog usually wake me up because they want food or the doggie needs to go out for her morning walk.

My record is 16 hours. Passed out on the couch one day at 2PM after a long night, woke up at 10PM, went up to my bed, passed right out again, and woke up sometime around 6AM.

Depending on what day it is depends what time I go to bed at;

On a school day, I'm usually in bed between 10 and 11pm and out by 11:30, then I get up at 7:30ish, so about 8hours....

On a weekend or holiday time, I'm in bed between 1 and 4am and out at about 12pm / 1pm. So there it's between 9 and 12 hours in bed.....  Silly

Right now I'm getting about 4-5 hours of sleep per night on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights because I have to be up for work at 5:00 am, the other nights I'll get a good 8-10 hours of sleep because I'm either off or my shift doesn't start until 13:30.

I need to sleep at least five hours, but in general I sleep around 7,5 hours, that's about three full cycles. During the week-end I can easily go for ten hours, like last night.

OMG

I cant understand that. Sleeping off a half day.

A few years ago, I had a job that was really energy consuming. I worked eight hours a day, but I often had the feeling of having worked for two days. That meant that regularly on friday night I crashed into my bed at 8 or 9pm and slept for 15 hours. Finally I left that job, because I was too frustrated to sleep half of my week-end.
