Im flying to San Diego for 3 days of business Sun the 10th-Wed 13th basically this weekend. I want to see a Padres game and its vs the Mariners even better its the young phenom Felix Hernandez vs Young on the hill for you baseball fans.

My question is simply this Which site(s) are best for buying tickets to the June 10th game. I really want to be close to the dugout on the 100 level and not just any type seats. I tried the Padres site and the only problem is you can never get the the best seats this early. you can get field box seats at the best rifght now.

http://sandiego.padres.mlb.com/ticketing/index.jsp?c_id=sd

I looked at StubHub.com and they seem to have the seats I'm looking for that are closer to the field. Is STubHub credible? or a scam? http://www.stubhub.com/san-diego-padres-tickets/

I need to buy my tickets by Visa instead of cash, and my plan is to fly in to SAN by 1030 on Sun the 10th of
June and get my rental car head to eat then park and go to Petco Park to watch batting practice about 1130 when the gates open. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Mike.

Just keep "ordering" tickets. Often times you will get different seats each time.

Stubhub is legit, but usually a ripoff. Sellers compensate for the fees by jacking up their prices and Stubhub adds additional fees for the buyer at checkout - on top of the price you see listed.

Thats the only company that the tickets are offered through for all MLB teams. Its always through Ticketmaster.

 checkmark

You'll get your tickets (although it's too late now for the 10th), but you'll pay through the nose for them.

That may be the case however each of the MLB teams have they're own exclusive ticketing section on the webpage for example heres the Padres.

http://sandiego.padres.mlb.com/ticketing/index.jsp?c_id=sd

However try buying from the Ticketmaster site for the Padres and you just can't buy any baseball tickets.

http://www.ticketmaster.com/browse?r...e_browse&type=selected&category=10

Now I know you can buy from other vendors however some are more expensive.

I got same-day tickets on StubHub (had to go to the office to pick them up).
