Coming back from SXM, I was sitting in my Flagship Suite during my hour and a half delay on a flight from MIA-DFW, and none other than David Boren was sitting right across from me. I had a real nice chat with him, about a very wide range of things, but of course made it known that I was a die hard Longhorn fan. He's a real interesting guy, and it was...ehem, an honor to talk to him. Oh God, what have I said? I must go sing The Eyes of Texas and pray to Vince Young as penance. Haha. He pronounced me a "very nice young man, for a Texas fan. " I helped him pull his tray table out, when he was having trouble, so that may have had something to do with it. But it was pretty wild. The most famous person I've ever sat on a plane with, that's for sure.
