I'm a little ashamed to admit I like the song, probably because it's associated with Air Canada, but wouldn't Hil want to go for an American singer? If not just to avoid the stupid obligatory sh!t about choosing a Canadian-French-Frog singer blah blah blah?

I don't know. Likewise, I shamefully admit liking this song (and it's video in which Céline Dion shares the screen with an AC A345), I think it's too "lovey-dovey" to be good for a political campaign. I like the positive message the song sends but I don't want Hillary Clinton to love me.

There is that but U2 which most Dems use are Irish so what difference does it make? It's a great song for Hillary, besides she didn't chose it, the voters did!

The song is sung by a FRENCH Canadienne. We'll never hear the end of it.

i like this song too, but how does she sound so much different than whe she normally speaks. She speaks with a heavy french-canadian accent, but in her songs she doesnt really have that accent?

I too would like to thank those who voted. This is the least-memorable, least-catchy, least-energetic tune I've heard in quite some time. It reflects hillary's campaign like a coke mirror.

I'm a little ashamed to admit I've been liking Air Canada a little more lately.

It's definitely not a bad song, though I only really like it when it's related to the airline. Here's on of the commercials they used it for. Gotta love the angle on the A340 at the end!

Cheers

IMO, the song that fits her (the title, as a minimum) best is by Elton John: "The Bitch Is Back"

It secured my support for Richardson. I like Clinton family politics... can't stand Celine Dion. Why couldn't they have chosen something with some kick...in your face...rage... I am sick of the song after only 10 seconds. Good thing I will absentee vote and don't have to see every commercial.

What have other candidates chosen?
Will iTunes have a "Presidential candidate theme song" download section?

Reagan's was "Born in the USA"...Pride in the country
Bill Clinton's was "Don't stop" (thinking about tomorrow.) Hope for the future.
What was Gore's?
What was Bush's? (1 & 2)

We need to chose a canidate to run for any political office on what that person political beliefs and record, not some song. If one for USA political office is to have a 'campaign theme song', it should be written and performed by an American. I would think that Ms. Clinton would have nominated and chosen a song by an African-American, American citizen female just for various demographic reasons.
Her announcement video, based on the well known and conterversial ending scene of The Sopranos series, a program about a fictional and highly immoral organized crime boss and here in the position of the show's mob boss Tony, shows questionable taste. Then again, politicans do send people to their death in war, many support the death penalty for criminals and all almost see politicans as crooks to some degree, so maybe there is some accuracy to her video.

Hear! Hear! Why has there been all the fuss over Hillary's campaign song when there is immigration reform to be debated, signing statements to be debated, appropriations to be debated, and a war in Iraq still going on? Are there really no other important issues in government than the woman posting her love for Barak and Hillary's theme song? Get a grip, America!

GO CANUCKS!!

She's got it messed up, to Hillary, the "I" comes first, the you, as in "Hey You, Do This, Hey You, You Can't Do That."

This should be her song:

The responses on here I think say a lot about the poltical demographic of this site, as well as the A.Net Elections Results in which the GOP won by quite a margin. Comments that Hillary's campaign has outsourced it's campaign song is simply untrue it was suggested by someone outside the campaign and selected by the American public. Hillary chooses American on the things that make a difference to the economy like products not a song. Besides Celine has been entertaining you guys in Vegas for years and as all of the show's have sold out and have become one of the most succesful concerts of all time I don't think that the majority of sensible Americans have a problem with Celine Dion.
