I just lost my 2nd motherboard, replaced it, and have reinstalled everything.. I wiped my HD and put 2000 on my system (Much more stable than 98..) .. The only thing left is my printer, HP Deskjet 812c.. I looked on HP's site, but no drivers for 2000.. Anybody have any suggestions??

Tx in advance!

Chris

Do you have the CD or Floppy the came with your printer? It should have the driver.

Try the Win98 driver and see what it does.

Try searching Drivers on yahoo... you'll get some stuff like driverdepot.com or something like that. Go to those sites... they are much more reliable than the manufacturer's website. If there is no 2k driver, look for an XP driver... 2K and XP drivers are interchangable... its the same basic platform.

I would try the NT 4 driver, since 2000 is really NT 5.

The drivers for this printer are included in Windows 2000, look on the list when you choose add printer.
