This one goes out to Tom in NO and baseball fans everywhere.
Not much of a back story here...every Thursday at Zephyr Field is "Thirsty Thursday" with $1 beers (in small cups of course), so I decided to meet my friend Jeremy (known him for about 15 years) and his girlfriend for one last game at the "Shrine on Airline" before I move to ATL. It was a gorgeous night for baseball, and the Zephyrs ended up beating the Omaha Royals 9 to 4. There was a decent crowd at this game, I'd say around 7,000 once everyone showed up. The right field pool was packed as well. Zephyr Field is a great place to catch a game...certainly it's one of the best minor league parks around. Now, here are some pictures...

Hum; wonder where they got the swimming pool idea? 7,000 for a AAA game nice looks like the locals are supporting the team..meanwhile down in Tucson the Sidewinders are packing up and looks like Reno is on the radar, after years of having the worse attendance in AAA, yet they play in a very nice park.
