Anybody watch fireworks in their city. In Bloomington, MN it was poring rain and thunder at 6:00 p.m. and I was worried the fireworks show would be cancelled, but at 8:00 p.m. it was clear sky. The fireworks show was awesome! There were also some other fireworks shows in different suburbs in Minneapolis. Happy July 4!

I'm going to a party so I'm not sure I'm going to be see the Boston fireworks tonight, though I'll only be a few blocks from where they're to go off. That said, they're calling for rain at some point this evening but clouds to move in earlier. So they were supposed to have fireworks that go off at around 1500 feet. But I suspect that they may be in the clouds, if it's not already raining.
Too bad because it's really a sight to see.

In Alexandria, MN one of the resorts (Arrowwood) on one of the many lakes hosts a fireworks display where people can either drive over there or take their boat. I've never been to it, but I've heard that it's a good show but is extremely crowded, on land and water.

I assume here in Lawrence, Kansas it is still on...don't really care. I live right across from Bill Self and Danny Manning, the head coach and assistant coach, respectfully, of the University of Kansas mens basketball team...they put on a better show than the city of Lawrence, and they never get in trouble (of course). I go up on the hill about a block behind my house and watch not only his but can see the city fireworks, personal fireworks, and fireworks from the two towns to the east of us - best spot in town, and barely anybody knows about it (shhhhhh)

Normally, my city does a show that we watch from the back yard. This year the hillsides are so dry the city decided to replace the fireworks with a laser show. I doubt we'll get to see that one, but that's okay... I need to turn in early anyway.

I just returned from the Boston show, watched from atop my friend's building at Arlington and Commonwealth(Taj Boston). As usual it was splendid as anyone watching CBS tonight would have seen. Aside from my biased opinion, it really is the best show in the country. Nothing else can come close to comparing.

I was watching planes at MSP and saw fireworks right behind an NW A330 in downtown Minneapolis. On the way home from the airport my mom and I decided to watch the Edina, MN fireworks. There was tons of smoke all over the place!
My neighbors are blasting fireworks off right now so I probably won't be able to sleep for awhile.

I sat across from the barge on Hayden Island on the Columbia River to watch the Fort Vancouver fireworks. They were impressive and longer than the fireworks at Canada Place on Sunday. It was cool to watch great shows just days apart. And, looking up the river to the east, there were all kinds of illegal fireworks in the sky over the river.

They had a show here at Folsom Field (CU's football stadium)...I didn't go to it, however, from where I live...3 miles away, I was still able to see it pretty clearly from my doorstep...not all that impressive, IMO...

I watched the show on Key Biscayne while sitting in the water at the beach here in Miami, the fireworks barge was maybe 200 yards off shore. Very cool, though the city of Miami show at Bayside and the South Beach show (which I could see from the key) were both longer and better.
