Hey man, Sorry for not getting back to you on the Pepsi 400 thread. I had a Hell of a weekend and the seats were awesome. It sucked that Tony wrecked early after his teammate didn't know how to drive. Oh well, Thats racin and ya cant win them all. I was glad to see Jamie McMurray get his first win in 5 years. Most of the race was extremely exciting and the last 5 laps were INSANE! I'm just glad Jimmie's Johnson or Jeff Gordon didn't win. I'm tired of those 2.

When I get a chance, I will post some of the pics I took of the race. I haven't reviewed them yet but I will let ya know how they turn out.

This weekends race should be alright but nothing spectacular. We have a few snoozefests coming up with Pocono and Indianapolis. Flat tracks are just too boring and the field gets too strung out, Lack of close racing, ect. As much as I love Indianapolis for Indy cars, I hate it for stock cars.

Denny did nothing wrong, Tony was in the wrong completely. He's the one that forgot who to drive.

 checkmark

Gotta go with Kuna on this . . . Stewart had his head in Rectal Defilade last weekend . . . and it cost he and Hamlin a lot.

. . . . .

I'll catch some of the race this weekend, finally . . . .

Chicago is a rather boring racetrack though . . .

Hey bud, Denny's car wasnt handling well and he either checked up or got out of shape. Tony had nowhere to go.

So when someone gets loose and/or tight its alright to run them over?  crazy

He never lifted, even after he hit Denny....I know I will never change any ones thoughts on this, its either you agree or disagree. Tony had no right to call his team mate out like that, and it was uncalled for!

Nope, Not an excuse to ran all over them. LOL. I guess its kinda like the Tony Stewart-Kurt Busch incident in the Daytona 500 when Tony got loose and Kurt Busch had nowhere to go.

After he got into Denny, Denny went to the inside of the track and Tony probably figured if he never lifted he would of cleared Denny. Unfortunately it didnt happen that way. You should of heard Tony's comments on his in-car radio, I've never seen him so pissed off. I agree that he shouldnt of called out his teammate like that but emotions are high after driving 190+ MPH.

On another note, you should of heard Kevin Harvick's comments on the in-car radio after Montoya got out of shape and pushed him into the wall.

Good to see Mark Martin in the Army Car again . . . wonder how he would have done with that car and team in the last three years had Front Row (Always Last) Nemechek not been at the wheel?

2004 would have been interesting. Joe wasn't half bad that year in that car...won at Kansas & ran well the whole season.

Harvick won the Busch race, and from looking at the results, not much else to say about that race (I didn't see it, so don't know what happened) other than Keselowski came in with a 14th place finish in Junior's #88 NAVY car.

Only a couple of items I'd throw in here as the race start looms...

Riggs misses another race. Thinking the 10 car will be up for a new driver next year or Evernham will need to devote a bit more attention to his 3rd team. Vickers and Allmendinger each missed the race as well, no Red Bull again.

Kyle Busch is driving solo from the comments he's making since the decision at HMS to hire Dale, Jr.

Sounds more and more that Tony Raines will be out of the 96 car at year's end (Nemechek, Ward Burton would fit well here if their teams fold due to sponsorship issues).

Happy that Ward is racing today, another quality qualifying run to get the underfunded 4 team in the race

Ironic that Stewart won this race because in 2004, he was involved in one of the most controversial incidents in a NASCAR race when he bumped then-race leader Kasey Kahne off the track and that resulted in a major fight in the pits when the then-Crew Chief for the #9 car, Tommy Baldwin, tried to beat up on the #20 pit crew.  Yeah sure

Well deserved win and clearly shows that JGR and HMS are the top 2 teams in NASCAR!
