none...don't like any of his movies to be honest! they're all the same family of leopards just different spots! but if I was forced to pick one it wouldn't be either of those...Cape Fear by 10 miles and maybe more is probably the best.

It's a really hard choice for me, love both films. But Casino wins by a nose because of my love of Las Vegas. Goodfellas is more quotable though. I've found myself from time to time using "go get your shine box" . In many ways, Pesci is practically playing the same character in both films. In Casino, his acting is so over the top at times, you start to laugh, especially when he beats up on someone.

Both movies are good, but "Goodfellas" still wins it by a long shot. More aspects of "Goodfellas" stand out for me than "Casino". Plus I think the plot is better. Although, the big payback at the end of "Casino" is great.

Goodfellas, hands down.
Quoting Speedbird747BA (Reply 5): The scene where Pesci shoots that kid waiter for telling him to fuck off.....wow, thats powerful.
Especially when that scene comes back (in a way) years later when that actor - playing Christaphuh Moltisanti on The Sopranos repays the favor to a bakery clerk who mouths off.
And when the clerk screams, "You shot me in the foot!" the reply is, "It happens..." Priceless!
Actually, it's amazing how many people from Goodfellas ended up on The Sopranos - the actors and actresses that played Dr. Melfi, Carmela's mom, Christaphuh, Phil Leotardo, Big Pussy Bonpenserio, and a few others were all in Goodfellas.

There are just so many quotable lines in both, (typical of Scorcese), and whilst Goodfellers has more of them, it seems, on reading the non fiction book about the Casino story, that Pesci was not over-acting much considering what the real Tony 'The Ant' was like.
Though when the 'head in a vice' really happened, 'The Ant' was eating his lunch nearby.
Also, Casino had a revelation - Sharon Stone could act!

For my I'd have to say Casino as it was more memorable to me although the story of Goodfellas seemed to be better portrayed in the film compared with Casino. If I have to make a choice I choose Casino, but in reality they're about even in my book.
I don't watch movies much at all, but you're leaving out a lot of popular stuff, IMO. It amazes me how Pesci could go back and forth from the gutter trash-talking dirtbag in Scorcese's movies to the bumbling, easy-to-pity mope in the Home Alone movies.
