For some reason I didn't expect to see this.

David Lethin who's boat, Aleutian Ballad was featured in a prior season of the Discovery Channel show, "Deadliest Catch" has convered the boat into a cruise ship.

The ship recently completed conversion in Oregon and will operate out of Ketchikan, Alaska taking groups up to 150 people out on a 4 hour cruise with his crew demonstrating how to fish several Alaska species. They plane to live release what they catch.

I can't wonder how he managed to get Rockfish on that list since they usually don't survive the trip to the surface.

Good for the owner.

Selling crustaceans generally doesn't make for a fantastic retirement plan.

I thought Jerry Tilley owned the boat. Guys, need I remind you this boat has survived rouge waves so its very seaworthy.

I think it's a pretty cool idea. I'd do it. Then again I'd be willing to pay $450 for a half hour ride on a B-17, so what's the big deal? Looks like capitalism to me.
