Does anyone know where the man himself is? One of the most down to Earth and honest members here, certainly one of the best. I hope everything is OK.

I was going through my list of respected users and saw him on there. I wondered that myself: Is he alright? Is his family alright? I know his daughter had some problems a few years ago, but I have not heard anything from the man either. I hope he and his family are well.

Gene is a class act and is greatly missed on here. I hope all is going well for him.

Our favorite Chimp is still about. For personal reasons he's been away.

He has an alter-ego "Zippy the Chimp".

Come back soon IHAP! Until then, here's a vodka & tang in your honor!  Big grin

I have felt incomplete since my mentor has gone away - we miss 'ya Gene and hope you're well.

I have nothing to add other than what's been said already. I hope all's well with Zippy!

Gene, say hello sometime, especially if you make a trek up to the YYZ area again. I'd love to see you and the family again and enjoy some friendly conversation!

The last time I spoke with him he gave me a ride to the hotel in his minivan LOL

I do hope all is well.

I think a YYZ meet is in order - that will get him out and about!

Cheers!
