Just read that actress Lindsay Lohan got just one day in jail for her DUI and cocaine possession charges. That is insulting to say the least. If that happened to a person who was not a celebrity they would probably get 15 years in jail.
Any comments?

She is misunderstood (cry me a freakin' river). She is young (so the hell was I and never got into that much trouble). She has a dysfunctional family (who the hell doesn't, I sure do and managed to live to tell about it without any judicial problems).

All she is comes down to this: she is an actress (BFD) who uses her status to get her off charges. She knows how to manipulate the system and does a beautiful job of it. The lay person doesn't stand a chance.

The best thing about her is that she provides far better entertainment when she is in trouble than when she actually (tries) to act.

She deserves what she gets. You reap what you sow. The list goes on.

One day will probably equal about 20 minutes in custody just enough time to do the paperwork. Time estimated is based on Nichole Richie's 96hrs = 82 minutes.

I am amazed that some folks were saying the "sentence" was fair and appropriate.

That would be her 9-15 year old fan base. The ones who still hold on to the fantasy of becoming a skank-whore-two-bit actress like LL. Dare to dream.

Someone teach her a lesson and give her 1 month in a state penitentiary. That will teach her a REAL lesson.

I wish. It was actually a prosecutor. Probably LA-based.
