The keyboard is different from mine and I do not have accents or something like that, but I have already been in the city center and it is absolutely terrific. This evening there was a movie in the central square, but the whole center is absolutely great, much more than how I expected. Now I am at the hostel and I am going to sleep.

Yes, I have to 100% agree with you. It's a great city to walk around, and it surpassed my expectations of the city. I think I posted on this before, but what really impressed me was the blend of the old and the new in the city centre; very nice indeed. It's so, so cheap aswell!

Bratislava is a (somewhat) undiscovered gem. I don't think I could spend a whole ton of time there, but I do enjoy it. It's becoming more and more known, so enjoy it before it becomes touristy like Prague did. Ick.

I went there in 2002 whilst I was backpacking all over Eastern europe. The ctiy centre was a nice surprise as well as the tower on the bridge...not to mention the great amounts of beautiful girls you see there...

I've been to Bratislava before - back in 1995 when it was still pretty undiscovered and a bit shabby. I enjoyed it then too, but I think they've cleaned it up a lot since then.
But its always nice to go somewhere where you may have not expected too much and ended up pleasantly surprised. I found that with Brasov in Romania this summer. It was so much better than I expected. All it needs now is an airport so that everyone else can visit it
