Alto Saxaphone Hey maybe we can start a band.

Bass and guitar for a bit over six years. Working on drums and harmonica when I can, looking to get myself something else to learn soon (mandolin? banjo?).
I took that for three years, and much to my dismay I was better on a trumpet the first time I picked one up than I was on an alto sax after three years of diligent practice.
It was at that point I gave up on playing instruments.

A bunch of aviation enthusiasts in a band.....how geeky. lol Any ideas for a name?
I've been playing the trumpet for 4 years. I started when I was in grade 7 and have no plans to stop until I'm at least in college if I don't have an opportunity there.

I play woodwinds. Specifically, that would include all the common saxes (don't have a bass sax yet), clarinets from Bb soprano to EEb contra-alto, and flutes from piccolo to G alto. I generally consider my primary horn to be baritone sax, but I bounce around a lot, especially if I'm playing in pit orchestras.
By the way, if anyone wants to hear a sound clip, there's one here of a big band gig I did last June. It features me and Roger Neumann on bari saxes, with me taking the first solo.

I can play the Tenor Horn, French Horn and Baritone and also the piano. I learned to play them all as a kid, firstly the piano and then the Tenor Horn in a junior band. Having learnt to play that, a French Horn and Baritone are fairly easy to pick up.
Sadly I'm very rusty indeed as i haven't played any of those instruments in a long time - I just don't get the time any more and other pursuits have taken over when I do have some free time.
Just when I thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, it was some B*****d with a torch bringing me more work
Sounds Very "Fugue-ish" or "Invention-ish." Nice playing though. Great dynamics! Bravo!
Oh and I just wanted to Add: My video above is of me playing Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto, 1st Movement. The etire movement is about 12 min long, way too long to take with a digital camera, and I don't have a DVR, so the sound quality is bad and it is short, but you get the general drift of things. Other videos of this piece being played by professionals are on youtube.
